22 weeks down 18 to go

How far along:  22 weeks

Baby Size:  A papaya

Weight:  Up another 2lbs this week, total of about 12.5

Symptoms:

  • I have been smelling things at home that I haven't cooked/been around in weeks.
  • Acid Reflux, at least I think that's what it is.  I don't feel any discomfort or pain, and then I burp up bile (sorry)
  • I have become a klutz lately.  I have had a lot of instances where things just seem to slip out of my hand
  • Lots of trips to the bathroom.

Maternity Clothes:  Luckily everything in my order from Old Navy worked out. The jean shorts are a little snug, but not really a big deal.  I have another pair that are like that as well (maybe my thighs are fatter now?)

Sleep:  I've long given up on it.

Cravings/Food Aversions:

  • Still donuts (although I try to limit myself to once a week)
  • Cereal
  • Chocolate
  • Cherry coke
Pretty much I need to crave healthier things

Belly Button: Still in, but Rob commented yesterday that it had darkened a little.

Rings on or off: On

Gender:  A girl!

Name:  Eleanor Rose

My mom was in the area last week and took this picture of the street sign for the road we got her name from.

Movement:  She didn't move much last week from Monday until Thursday night and naturally I worry (although I know it is normal).  Then since Thursday night she has been pretty active.  Yesterday she kicked the hardest yet, and I was like "Whoa what was that?"

Stretch Marks: I haven't seen any yet

Best moment: Feeling her move more

Looking forward to:  Viability in 2 weeks

What I miss:  Sleep.  I missed alcohol over the weekend when everyone but me had some sort of drink.

Labor signs: I think I might have been having Braxton Hicks last week, but I don't know if it is too early for that.

Appointments:  2 weeks from today, just a checkup and I am doing the glucose test that day.

Misc. The baby bump is more obvious now.  I've been getting a lot of 'Whoa's' from family members lately.

  1. My Braxton Hicks started at 22 weeks with Lucy, and like 18 weeks with Lena, so I don't think it's too early for you to be feeling them.

Mmmm, donuts. I wish I could still blame pregnancy on my cravings. Haha. Way to limit yourself! I ate as many as I wanted and I'm paying for it now!

    1. Sadie I love that you are all like "I'm paying for it now" (eating donuts). Girl, you're basically a freaking twig! #eatmoredonuts
