Round 2: 15 weeks

How far along:   15 weeks

Baby Size:  A travel size deodorant,

Weight:  Anywhere between 4-5 pounds gained.

Symptoms:  C
ramping/stretching, random bouts of exhaustion, and the wild dreams

Maternity Clothes: Some shirts

Sleep:  It's gotten a little better.  Instead of waking up every hour, it's every one and a half to two hours.

Cravings/Food Aversions:  No cravings, lots of things don't sound good.

Belly Button: In

Rings on or off:  On

Gender: 25 more weeks until we find out!

Name:  Nothing if this is a girl; we have our boy name from Eleanor

Movement:  I had a few moments that were like, was that a baby, or just my belly settling.  lol.  Pretty sure it was just my belly.  It's to early right?

Stretch Marks:  Still what I have from Eleanor, but I feel like they are getting darker already

Best moment:  Hearing the heartbeat last week.

Looking forward to:  The anatomy scan in a month, feeling real movement from the baby.

Nervous about:  Work and how that's going to be.  I am taking 4 months off (one before the baby and 3 after) but Eleanor will be just 2 1/2, the little girl I watch 1 1/2 and then a 3 month old.  I watch the little girl close to 45 hours a week (over 4 days).

What I miss:  Sleep

Labor signs:  Nope

Appointments:  Prental on September 10 and Anatomy Scan on September 11

Misc.   My appointment went fine last week. It is always a relief to hear that heartbeat.

21 weeks

How far along:  21 weeks

Baby Size: A pomegranate

Weight:  133!  Up 2 1/2lbs this past week.  My total is just over 10lbs, 7 of that in the last month.

Symptoms:
Having to pee all night every night.

Maternity Clothes:  $100+ dollars later I have a pair of jean shorts that fit, a tank top, t-shirt, maxi dress that work. I also ordered another pair of jean shorts, yoga/ casual style shorts, a hoodie, a t-shirt and a tank top from old navy so hoping those will work.  I hate spending money on clothes when I don't have a job, but I need a few more things, and I'll probably be okay.  Get used to seeing me in the same things this summer.

Sleep:  I miss it.

Cravings/Food Aversions:  I want donuts!  Actually I told myself if I wanted one yesterday I had to walk to get it.  So I did.  It was a mile and a half (there and back) in 80 degree temps.  I got my donut though.

Belly Button: Still pretty far in.

Rings on or off:  On, although it's been humid so it was a little hard to slide off yesterday.
Please excuse the messy hair.

Gender:  Girl!

Name:  On Friday I was out with my sister and she guessed it and I can't lie.  So we decided to go ahead and share it.  Rob was pretty excited to call his family and tell them.  Her first name comes from the name of the road that my grandparents lived on and that I had really good memories on.  So while technically we are naming her after a road it's a legit name.  Her middle name is Rob's grandma's name. Her name is.....

Eleanor Rose

Movement: It's still sporadic but the movements are a little stronger, and more poke/jab like and less of the rolling pulsing I was feeling before.

Best moment: Hearing the heartbeat again; getting lots of clothes for her (thank you garage sales and donations), sharing the name.

Looking forward to:  Viability day in 3 weeks.

What I miss:  Sleep, frozen mixed drinks, riding my bike.

Labor signs: Nope and I'm okay with nothing for another 17 weeks.

Appointments:  24 week and the glucose test on June 13th.

Misc.  Thanks to some savvy shopping and donations she is all set for newborn size (maybe need a few short sleeve onesies), and the 3-6 month range.  I still need 0-3 size, 6-9 month, and 9-12 (but I won't worry about that size until next summer).

9 weeks

How far along:  9 weeks

Baby Size:  A marble or a green olive

Weight:  123.3

Symptoms:
The bloat has begun; sharp cramps which I'm pretty sure are gas pains.

Maternity Clothes:  No, but I am running out of jeans that fit. Luckily I can wear sweatpants to work. My maternity clothes I ordered came in. 2/3 dresses I don't like. I haven't tried the cami's.

Sleep:  It's been better.  I haven't really napped in a while.  I'm trying to get better about going to bed earlier.  It's tough because by the time Rob and I get home and make and eat dinner it's usually 6:30 and he wants to watch tv or hang out and I just want to go to bed.

Cravings/Food Aversions:  Food usually sounds disgusting.  I'm trying to make myself eat more because I feel worse on an empty stomach, but it's tough when the thought of eating makes me gag.  Popsicle's help.

Belly Button: In

Gender:  Still no vibes either way.  If it's a boy he will have a boy cousin about 5 months older (Due late April).  If it's a girl she will have a girl cousin about a year older (born October 9).

Name:  Not sure

Milestones:  It was great to hear that baby measured exactly where it should be at last weeks appointment. The heartbeat seemed faster than last time although I wasn't sure what it was at exactly

Looking forward to:  Telling people.  Rob has wanted to tell everyone for a long time, but I haven't been ready to.  I said after my appointment last week, but now I keep saying after my 12 week appointment.  My sister had a baby shower last weekend, and has a few more coming up and I don't want to take anything away from her.

What I miss:  I miss being able to eat whatever I want. I miss having sex (and I know Rob does) like we used to.  It used to be 4-5 times a week.  Now we are lucky to have it twice.  I feel worse in the evenings/night so it's tough.

Appointments:   March 19.  My 12 week appointment

Misc.  I refilled my progesterone last week.  It cost me $10 for 60 pills.  Last time I filled it, the exact same thing, it cost me $210.  Crazy.

My sister had her first baby shower this weekend.  I felt like I had a huge I'm pregnant sign on my forehead. I'm sure her friend knew (I talked about her in this post).  I didn't ask my sister if she told her, but considering my sister told me that she was pregnant, I'm sure it was vice versa.  I love my sister but sometimes she's not a good secret keeper.  Sorry Ali!  Her mother in law and sister in law were there, and I know they know, but they didn't say anything.

This is my in my pajama's, not feeling well, going to bed, I forgot to take a picture face.
Still lots of bloat (although it looks worse here, than it really is)

Baby has a heartbeat!!! (Happy Dance)

I am so so so relived.  I'm actually measuring a day ahead, but I'm just keeping my original date of October 1st.
Heartbeat was 118bpm.  We even got to hear it.  It was awesome.  I was so happy Rob was able to go.

Measuring 6wk 3 days.  Baby is that little white blob in the circle.

Trying to be calm

My first ultrasound is today.
The few symptoms I've had I could blame on progesterone.
I'm so nervous that the doctor is going to say sorry, there is no baby there.
Luckily Rob is probably going to be able to be there with me.  I didn't think he would be able to be there, but I am glad that he probably will.  If the ultrasound goes bad, I don't want to have to tell him later, and if it goes good I don't want to tell him that I heard the heartbeat if he doesn't get to.
