1. September is Better Breakfast month - if time, money, calories etc. were no object, what would you have for breakfast?
Hash browns, bagels, french toast, bacon and omelets. I don't normally like eggs, but with omelets you can add lots of cheese, veggies and it makes it so much better.
2. How often do you do a major clean out?
Maybe once or twice a year. Whenever I get really sick of clutter and junk everywhere.
3. What makes you feel appreciated?
Just someone noticing that I put time and effort, so acknowledgement. I don't need a parade, just want someone to notice.
4. If you had the choice, would you employ someone to help around your home/life? Maid, Nanny, Cook, Butler or some other form of help?
We pay my brother to mow our lawn. Rob has knee problems (he's had ACL surgery twice) so we just give my brother $30 each time. He works for a landscaping company, and has the equipment available. We have a small lot so it takes him less than an hour and he trims the edges along the sidewalk and driveway and it looks great. He probably does it every 2-3 weeks depending on rain etc...
I'd probably pay someone to cook. I rely on boxed, prepackaged and frozen meals most nights. I'm lazy and just not creative enough to come up with great meals.
We used to pay my sister to clean when I was working 3 jobs. That was so nice coming home to a clean house once a week, but then my hours changed and she had a baby so no more of that. :(
I'm noticing omelets are a popular answer today!
ReplyDeleteI forgot about omelets, that sounds delicious.
